Avaya, a global network provider of enterprise systems, business collaboration software and services-complete integration of its NES which is claimed to provide savings of up to 60 percent.
The announcement is targeting the SME market, will further encourage savings, as well as user experience and better collaboration for entrepreneurs, startups and new-generation medium-sized companies.
Avaya IP Office 7.0 is claimed to be complete integration of IP and digital phones Nortel Enterprise Solutions (NES) into the IP Office platform (NES Avaya was acquired in December 2009). This integration allows about 14 million users NES obtain the collaboration capabilities of Avaya IP Office so as to encourage savings of 40-60 percent.
NES customers can still use the phone even though they were doing an upgrade to the Avaya IP Office. This upgrade can be accelerated and simplified using the new Data Migration Tool and allows partners to transfer all existing business data (voicemail, phone extensions) into their new systems. As a result, productivity is preserved and does not interfere with business.
Broader multimedia portfolio also presented through the Avaya IP Office 7.0. Includes desktop phone touch screen that comes with new colors, allowing users to find contacts ata manage voicemail with the touch of a finger.
Avaya’s latest conference phone also offers a number of patent-protected solutions such as wide-band audio, recording a call via an SD card and USB connectivity to your laptop quickly to set up temporary. This expanded portfolio also offers a series of video capabilities, including HD video conferencing from a PC softphone table, without additional equipment.
Currently, Avaya is exploring future innovations in collaboration for the UK market the Mini, including Avaya Flare Experience for SMEs. Looking ahead, Avaya also convey a vision for cloud hybrid approach for SME communications that places Avaya IP Office at a customer site and allow certain applications to be stored in the cloud that was in a network of partners.
