Google recently said they found the search traffic that is not unusual during routine monitoring at the Google data centers.
After working with a number of Internet security experts, Google found that computers that behave that way was infected with malicious software or malware. Matt Cutts of Google says this happens only on Windows computers.
So Google made the detection system, and if the computer detected bervirus, when opening Google Search, above the search box will pop up a yellow warning bar, saying Your Computer Appears to be infected.
